"I inherited my love of woodwork from my father. At 15 I began a five year City & Guilds apprenticeship in joinery and wood work machinery.
Over the years, I have built up a wide skill set - traditional joinery, windows and doors, staircase building, cabinet making and also on-site carpentry.
Ten years ago, after several years of running a workshop, I set up on my own. I have my own workshop and machinery.
Over the years I have completed a range of work including listed buildings, English Heritage and commercial buildings from pubs to offices and even wildlife parks! I love all aspects of my work, but have a real passion for period properties."

“I’m an electrician and initially started an apprenticeship with a building control engineering firm. After working in roofing and general building I went on to complete the City and Guilds Electrician training.
My next role involved electrical installation work with large projects at British Aerospace, manufacturing plants and oil depots around the country. We also undertook commercial work in offices, flats, communal buildings and some domestic work.
After 10 years I became self-employed and, for the past 15 years, I have been working in Bristol in a domestic environment. I love my work. I love to be able to put in good days work and I feel I offer a great service.”

“I first worked in joinery at 18 for a company doing high end work - fitting out kitchens in the Harrods’ showroom, embassies in London and counters for Clinique, Origins and Estee Lauder.
I then worked in domestic joinery and carpentry making windows, stairs and bespoke furniture for all styles of houses. I have also been a foreman at a joiners shop; project managed shop fitting sites and worked alongside some fantastic tradespeople.
My commercial work includes the bar in Browns and the 10m display touch screen table at Underfall Yard.
I’ve been working out of my own joiners shop for the last six years but have been spending more time project managing jobs for home owners.”
