The Spruce Standard
We have high standards and only work with trades people with the same work ethic.
We’ll coordinate all the trades and ensure everyone works to the Spruce Standard. This means:
- We’ll be honest and realistic about timescales and budgets, keeping you in the loop and managing your expectations throughout the project as things don’t always go according to plan.
- We’re collaborators and we want to work with you not for you.
- We’re used to problem solving and working out ways of doing things. Not sure about something? Just ask and we can figure it out together.
- We’re considerate. We’ll let you know if the work is going to be noisy or dirty; that way we/you can give the neighbours a heads up.
- We’re crafts people and we take pride in what we do. Also, if we commit to a job, we’ll see it through to the end.
- We’re tidy. Honestly! Building and renovations are a dirty business but when we leave at the end of the day, we’ll clean up as much as we can and leave things in an orderly fashion.
- We aren’t work shy. You won’t find us sloping off at 3pm on a Friday if there’s still work to be done, unless you want us out the way obviously!
